The Women’s Center
The Women’s Health Center provides comprehensive, accessible health care for women in the Sturgeon Bay facility. Located on the second floor of the hospital, the Women’s Center provides physical examinations, complete obstetric and gynecological services, antepartum care, breast health care, bone densitometry, and specialized women-centered physical therapy and massage. The spa-like atmosphere includes comfortable seating areas, complimentary coffee and tea, and artwork by renowned local female artists.

The Birthing Center is a complete obstetrical inpatient unit composed of four dedicated birthing suites equipped for comprehensive labor, delivery, and post-partum care of mother, baby and her family. Painted in soothing tones, and featuring beautiful artwork, comfortable furnishings and spacious bathrooms, DCMC’s Birthing Center provides outstanding care for mothers, babies and families.
In addition to obstetrical care, staff provides care for female medical-surgical and gynecologic patients. Parents receive education through prepared childbirth classes, baby care and feeding classes, videos, and post-partum discharge contact. Our certified lactation consultants provide personalized breastfeeding support at the birthing center and after leaving the hospital.
A diagnostic imaging department dedicated to the needs of women is located within the Women’s Center on the second floor of the hospital. Services include mammography (digital, including screening, diagnostic, needle localizations–mammography or stereo), bone density testing and stereotactic breast biopsies.
