Door County Medical Center (DCMC) is pleased to announce that Dr. Terry Ray Reisner will join their Algoma clinic as a full-time family practice provider. Reisner brings more than 30 years of experience caring for patients of all ages. A graduate of the University of Iowa College of Medicine, he completed his residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix, Ariz.
Dr. Reisner, a Midwestern native, comes to DCMC from his practice in Rifle, Colo. A U.S. Air Force veteran, he also served as a family physician at the Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho. He has special interest and advanced training in geriatrics and sports medicine.
“We know Dr. Reisner will make a strong impact on patients, and he is already finding ways to become involved in the community,” says Kim Swiggum, clinic supervisor at the Door County Medical Center Algoma Clinic.
Dr. Reisner joins Nurse Practitioner Missie Minerath, as well as a host of specialists who provide orthopedics, obstetrics/gynecology, pediatrics, podiatry, rheumatology, behavioral health and diabetic services at DCMC’s Algoma clinic.
